Microdermabrasion treatment exfoliates and resurfaces the skin and is the most popular skincare treatment in the UK for skin rejuvenation of all ages.

Suitable for all skin types, Microdermabrasion work on improving skin texture for a healthier complexion without the use of chemicals or Lasers.

Removing your skins outermost layers of dead cells stimulates collagen production and promotes the growth of healthy new cells as well as clearing the way for nutrients and minerals in our skincare products to penetrate deeper into the skin.

We only offer Medical Microdermabrasion, which uses medical grade crystals that are more effective than other standard Microdermabrasion systems (and crystal-free systems).

Microdermabrasion treatments can improve the appearance of:

  • Dull / Tired Skin

  • Flaking and Dry Skin

  • Blackheads and clogged pores

  • Milia and Comedones

  • Fine lines and Minor Wrinkles

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Oily Skin

  • Rough or Course skin

Microdermabrasion FAQs

How Does It Work?

The skin is treated to a deep, mechanical exfoliation, which gently resurfaces the outer layers of the skin, removing damaged cells and stimulating the skin's natural cell regenerating process. The result is healthy, natural, smooth and youthful skin.

Using a vacuum, the machine and a specially designed hand piece pass micro-fine crystals across the skin. As the crystals make contact, layers of the stratum corneum are exfoliated, then vacuumed away with the dead skin cells.

The combination of skin exfoliation and slight vacuum stimulates fibroblasts to produce new healthy, living cells in the basal layer of the epidermis. This leads to cell turnover and improved blood flow.

What Can I Expect In Treatment?

Your skin will be cleansed and prepped for a hand-held vacuum to work across the skin. Two passes of the skin ensure removal of dead skin cells and specific areas of concerned can be focused on, for example congestion or black heads around oily areas like the nose or chin. To finish a nourishing enzyme mask is applied and creams and SPF ensure the skin is protected.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Skin may appear slightly pink immediately after treatment but this should settle within an hour or so.

Occasionally Microdermabrasion can trigger a breakout in problematic skin, such as spots for those with congested skin. This is a sign that the treatment is taking effect and this temporary reaction will subside and great improvements will be seen over subsequent treatments.

How Many Treatments Would I Need?

We recommend a course of 3-6 treatments every 4 weeks for optimum skin care benefits and results.

What Results Can I Expect To See?

Skin will be revitalised after just one Microdermabrasion but a course of treatments will result in softer fine lines and brighter, smoother skin.
